Action Pistol

Action Pistol events are on the last weekend of the month starting in March. Gun requirements are 9mm, 38 or larger, about 100 rounds of ammo per gun, strong side holster and extra magazines. Classes for these shoots include open, limited, limited 10, revolver, and P.P.C. Trophies are given out for limited class only. Cost is $10/gun for members and $15/gun for non-members, not limited to one classification per match. IDPA style courses, about 18-24 rounds per course. Three courses per match. Paper targets, steel pepper poppers, bowling pins and other challengers. All matches will be pistol except for the June and September. June will consist of rifle, pistol, and shotgun and shot on two courses of fire. Last match of the year in September will be a three gun match using rifle, shotgun, and pistol.

Registration for the events will begin at 8:00am until 9:00am. Safety meeting will begin at 9 with the match starting after the safety briefing.

Reminder that all firearms ranges will be closed starting at 3:00pm the night before the matches and at 3:00pm.
