GO EASY (Black Powder Range)
Follow the Range Safety Officers directions.
Start and fire all rounds from inside the start area.
Load 5 rounds of Buck Shot.
On the buzzer you engage the two steel behind the no shoot steel. (I you knock down the no shoot steel you will draw a procedural penalty.) Then the four on the outer edge alternating from side to side, left-right-left-right or right-left-right-left.
The Gong at the far end of the stage will be engaged by a Slug ONLY.
Time ends when the Gong is hit.
SLUGS ONLY (200 Meter Range)
Follow the Range Safety Officers directions.
Start in the start area.
Load 4 rounds of slug.
On the buzzer you engage the first two targets. Move to the wall on the right and engage the 3 targets behind it. Move left to engage the 3 targets behind the left wall then engage the far target.
Scoring will be as indicated by the target plus time.
COLOR CODE (100 Meter Range)
Follow the Range Safety Officers directions.
Step into the Red Ring and load with 5 Buck Shot.
On the buzzer engage the color-coded steel with the ring. Move to the Blue ring and engage the color-coded steel. From the Blue Firing ring then engage the 4 paper targets with one Slug hit on each.
Scoring will be as indicated by the target plus time.
AMMO MANAGEMENT (Plinking Range)
Follow the Range Safety Officers directions.
Start in the Ring and load with 4 Slugs.
Engage targets with the correct type ammo. (Paper targets must be hit with slugs only and steel targets must be hit with Buck shot only.)
You can start at either end and must clear the first array before moving to the second array, clearing it engage the third array of targets.
Scoring will be as indicated by the target plus time.
HOME RUN (Black Powder Range)
Follow the Range Safety Officers directions.
Start at Home Plate and load with 4 Buck Shot.
You have to be moving while firing at the targets.
You can reload while standing in the base box.
On the buzzer you will walk toward first base engaging the corresponding three targets. If you have not hit all the targets, you will backup and load then complete the portion of the course. Once you leave the base you must engage the three corresponding targets before reaching second base again you can back up and load to complete the portion of the course. Same directions to third and to Home Plate.
Time ends when the last target is hit.
BIRD SHOT (To the Right of Plinking Range)
Follow the Range Safety Officers directions.
